I was a fairly indecisive bride but I knew the feel I wanted for our outdoor ceremony. I compiled a list of songs I loved and Bobby and Emily did the rest (which was great as I was somewhat stressed with all of the seemingly endless wedding decisions!) The result was beautiful and unique and I am still receiving compliments on the music for the ceremony and cocktail reception.Bobby and Emily were highly professional, expertly prepared, versatile and accommodating - in general, an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them to all of the brides to be looking to add a special detail to your big day!

When I was deciding what I wanted for my ceremony, I knew I wanted live musicians that were professional, easy to work with, and able to do classical and modern pieces as well. I contacted more than one group with varying instruments, several of which were impersonal and wanted to charge me a lot of extra fees. Emily and Bobbi were quick to respond, provided me with a huge selection list that more than met my needs, and allowed me the flexibility to create my program that fit my budgetary needs. Emily kept in touch regularly so we were always on the same page, and was kind and understanding of what I wanted. She was more of a friend than a vendor for my wedding, and I really valued that! When it came time for our big day, I couldn't have been happier! The music was beautiful and exactly what I wanted! Everyone commented about how perfect everything turned out, and how great the atmosphere was. Emily and Bobbi were a big part of that! Thanks for making my day extra special!

"As a Minister of Music, I find that rehearsal time with an orchestra is not always easy to come by because of time and budgetary constraints, so I rely very heavily upon the skills of the players I hire and trust that they will always be prepared to make music of the highest quality in a limited amount of time. I decided after working with Bobby and Emily once that there was never any need to look elsewhere for guitar or percussion, and have since worked with them consistently over the past three years. I am always impressed by their professionalism, musicality, improvisational skills, and overall great attitudes. You could not ask for two finer musicians and I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to work with them."
"Bobby Hall is passionately committed to instructing his guitar students. His organized lesson plans and attention to the fundamentals are helping my son establish a solid foundation as a musician. The addition of the ensemble sessions has been a lot of fun and allows the students to learn from each other."
Kurt Woods, father of 11 year old student
"I like taking lessons because I like playing drum set. I want to practice so I can have a bigger drum set with lots of noises for a bigger challenge. Emily helps me learn and make up my own new patterns and fills and notes. It's so much fun!"
"Finding a really good guitar teacher these days isn't easy. I love everything about my guitar lessons with Bobby, and regret only that it took me two years in Macon to find him. He offers total unsparing honesty as it pertains to music. He has high expectations, but if you demand the same ones of yourself, you will grow quickly as a musician."

"Bobby and Emily Hall provided the music for my wedding and it was beautiful! Everyone loved it. They are professional, talented, and super nice. If you have a music need, choose the Halls!"
"What I think is the best thing about Bobby and Emily is that they are so passionate about music and sharing it with other people. I've never personally taken lessons with them, but the energy they have when they talk about their students or a performance is contagious. I would recommend these two to anyone."

"Bobby is a joy to work with! Not only is he a great musician, he is a true professional. He knows what to play and when to play it. Bobby has played several times at Pineola Farms - the guest and our Directing Staff are always impressed. We always suggest him to our clients who are considering live music at their wedding."
"Bobby Hall brings a keen focus to his work. His performances reflect his keen attention to detail and his love of disciplined preparation. His contributions to the local art scene in Central Georgia are helping to spur a renaissance of culture in the arts."
Dr. Monty Cole, Professor of Jazz at Mercer University
"Emily Hall is a dedicated percussion instructor who cares greatly about each of her students! As a past percussion major at Mercer University, she is a gifted performer who continues to seek opportunities to exhibit her percussion skills and work collaboratively with other musicians!"
"I have really enjoyed being a student of Bobby's. I was in my mid "60's" when I first started with Bobby. I didn't know anything about music at all - nothing. I saw a commercial on the TV for a guitar which I couldn't resist. Not long after that I ran across Bobby at Young America Music, and he agreed to take me on as a student even though I thought I was past the learning stage. However, he proved me wrong. In a short period of time I started playing and am reading music. Bobby even taught me how to make memorizing new songs and pieces easy. He plays all kinds of music very well so Bobby can teach you any type you want to learn. I appreciate his gentle, patient and understanding approach to teaching and I am proud to be his student."

“Mr. Bobby is a good guitar teacher. I love learning guitar and how he splits up hard songs into little bits so I can do it.”
"I had no musical experience before I began taking guitar lessons with Bobby. What I like about Bobby's teaching method is that it provides me with a lot of structure and "homework" that allows me to take what he teaches me and practice at home. Bobby has taken the time to help me with the basics and to get me started learning how to play the guitar. I would highly recommend Bobby to anyone looking to learn how to play guitar."
